Angel Macau Inc told GGRAsia in an update that the new side betting option for baccarat play is compatible with "Angel Eye Complete," a "smart table" product from Angel Group, a casino equipment supplier deployed in the Macau market.
The new baccarat side bet is known as 'Small 6/Big 6', a variation of the 'Lucky Six', which is widespread in casinos in Macau. If the winning bank teller with a face value of 6 consists of two cards, the new side bet option, 'Small 6/Big 6', pays 22:1 for the winning bank teller with a face value of 6. The side bet pays the winning bank teller with a face value of 6 a 50:1 ratio of 3 cards.
GGRAsia has contacted Macau casino regulator the Game Inspection Coordination Bureau for comment on the new baccarat side betting options. We did not hear back until this story was posted online.
As outlined, the side betting option received regulatory approval in Macau, Macau Chairman Asuka Kurahashi Angel confirmed to GGRAsia.
Mr Curahashi said the mechanical process of updating Angel Smart Table products with new side betting options could itself be achieved "immediately".
Referring to the key features of "Angel Eye Complete," President Angel Macau said, "Before this new side bet approval, Angel had already developed software that could accommodate this new side bet, which shouldn't take much time. Once it comes to the actual launch...It's just installing new software on related devices," he said.
If you update your smart gaming table with "Small 6/Big 6," you don't need to change the angle of the gaming action monotoring camera placed at the other end of the table because the camera can capture the entire betting area of the gaming table, she added.
Game tables with "Angel Eye Complete" in Macau prior to the newly approved Side Bet "Small 6/Big 6" were already compatible with other baccarat Side Bet options known as "insurance bet".
